Book Review: These Things Hidden

Allison Glenn is all of sixteen-years-old when she is sentenced to prison for committing a devastating crime. Gone is her reputation of being the golden girl in her little town of Linden Falls. She is shunned by her parents and former friends. Allison is not the only one suffering. Her younger sister, Brynn, must endure the whispers and stares in the high school hallways. Unfortunately it is Brynn who carries the burden of what happened on that ill fated night. Six years later, Allison is released from a halfway house, ready to resume a normal life that includes her estranged sister.
Their secrets are wrapped in one little boy and his adoptive family. Will the secrets of the Glenn girls be revealed?
I have to be honest. This was a decent book but, it was a little confusing at times. Each chapter tells the story from the point of view of a different character. The story stops and backtracks with almost each shift of voice. I give this book a B.
