Thirty-one year- old Evan has a cool and carefree life. He's a musician who once had a top 20 song on the charts. He jams with his band, records in the studio and works in a record shop. Then one day, his past catches up with him. His high school girlfriend, Tracy has passed away but she left something special behind. When Tracy was a teenager, her family moved away with her newborn son, Dean--Evan's son. With his grandmother's refusal to leave her violent husband, Evan is all Dean has.
Like any other teenager in his predicament, Dean is full of anger and resentment.
Evan can no longer drift through life without a care if he's going to win over his fourteen-year-old son. Being Dean's father means that Evan will have to face his own father and the epilepsy that looms over him on a daily basis.
This book was another winner! I highly recommend it.
